Celades: "We have to move on and work towards the future"
Albert Celades gave his analysis of the Spanish Supercopa defeat to Real Madrid following the final whistle, and looked at what went wrong for his side in Saudi Arabia.
"We are aware that we weren't at our true level -the level at which we have been performing- but we struggled to get going right from the start. We struggled to defend against the talent Real Madrid have, and we found it hard to string together moves, have continuity in our play and get to the opposition area. The result is a consequence of that."

"We didn't have a good day. We needed to be more active, and even more so against opponents like Real Madrid. We didn't perform well in any phase of the game: With the ball or without," continued Celades.
"The players gave their all, right to the end, and were even fighting until the final second when we were 3-0 down. We weren't doing well up until the first goal, but that goal hurt us because of how it happened, and we weren't able to recover from it."
As for the future, Celades said that "It's a tough moment. When you suffer a defeat you feel bad, but we have to look ahead and prepare for what lies ahead, because there is a lot to come. Without going much further, this weekend we have our next game, against Mallorca. There is nothing else for us to do other than move on and work towards the future."
